The final week before Christmas is magical in a primary school: Winter fairs, winter concerts , nativities and singing around the Christmas tree. It has been a very strange last week, whilst we continue to deal with the repercussions of the pandemic.Despite this,we wanted to spread some christmas hope and joy and that is exactly what we did.
On Tuesday ,the community raffle was a roaring success with magnificent prizes donated by Sewell flowers, Gand R butchers, Bachay.com Morrisoms and Protocol. The winners can be seen here.
On Wednesday , it was a Christmas Dinner with Christmas crackers and party hats followed by a very special visitor - Mrs Santa and her helpers. The children’s eyes sparkled in delight as they received their very special gift from Mrs Santa.
On Thursday, we brought a slice of a Christmas concert to you click here. All we can say is thank goodness the children helped out on the School Song - Ranelagh Remedy. Followed by Christmas Parties in the children’s bubbles.
Although this year has been a year like no other, Ranelagh Primary and Nursery school would not have got through it without your patience ,support and kindness. From the bottom of our hearts , we thank you and wish you a very happy holiday and all of the very best wishes for 2021.
