Children in Need
On Friday, along with the entire nation, Ranelagh raised awareness for Children in Need. Dressed to the hilt in spotty clothes and dotted outfits, the staff and children alike enjoyed contributing to such a noble cause. Children in Need, A BBC charity, maintains a vision that every child across the UK should have a childhood which is safe, happy, secure and allows them to reach their potential.
Some of the children donning the best outfits were asked to stand up in our Friday assembly, to special applause, where Mrs. Lawrenson helped to explain just how special Children in Need day is. And by 3:00, our Learning Mentor Mrs. Green was thrilled with just how many pound coins she had to count, announcing that we managed to raise just shy of £300! What an amazing accomplishment, and well done everyone at Ranelagh!
