Eggscellent End of Term
In what has become an annual tradition at Ranelagh, the Spring term concluded with a favourite event - the Easter Egg Hunt! Organised by school council, the last week of the term saw hundreds of children trolling the playgrounds, complete with parents and carers in tow, to find the ever so elusive plethora of Easter eggs dotted about here and there.
Each child, upon finding an 'egg', had to keep a written record of a secret code written on the back of it. When they thought they found all the Easter eggs, and had successfully written down the corresponding codes, children then had to submit them to the school council whose job it was to check if all the codes were compiled correctly.
Mrs. Lawrenson and Ms. Tsui then had the pleasure of reading out the names of those children who had managed to find all the Easter eggs around the school during our whole school assembly. Waiting with baited breath, the excitement was palbable as names were drawn out of a hat. What a better way to finish off the Spring term at Ranelagh than by going home with your very own chocolate Easter egg!
A fantastic thank you and well done to our wonderful School Council for organising and running the event. See you next Spring!
