The school offers a range of programmes funded through Family learning in Newham.  Family literacy and Family Numeracy are programmes where parents/carers develop their own skills but also work with their children on a range of learning themes.

Another popular course at Ranelagh has been the English as a second language ( ESOL)  course. Here parents develop their language skills and undertake many tasks linked to speaking and listening. The ICT course was very popular at Ranelagh. This allowed parensts/carers to develop ICT skills through  a planned  scheme of work.
