Ranelagh Attends 2020 Olympic Games Event

Parents and children travelled to The Olympic park /Lea Valley sports arena to a launch event for next year's Tokyo Olympics. The legacy of the 2012 Olympics hosted by Britain continues. The Travel to Tokyo challenge is a new ‘getting active’ programme for young people aged 5–11 from Sport England, Team GB and Paralympics GB.

The programme invited children and their families to join Olympic and Paralympic athletes as they prepare for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, by joining a team and getting active together! Children were able to meet famous British Olympians and were inspired by their amazing sporting stories. Emrys in Year 4 was thrilled with a t-shirt he received signed by these inspirational sports people.
