Ranelagh is a Forest School
There is no getting away from the fact that Ranelagh is situated in an urban area. Natural spaces are few and far between. This is why we make sure that the children at Ranelagh have the opportunity to learn in and from nature. This term, Year 6 and Year 2 will be travelling to West Ham Park to immerse themselves in the natural world.

We have also created a natural space in the playground, so all the children at Ranelagh can practise their Forest School skills such as sawing wood, tying knots, and making shelters. Teachers have been trained by our Forest School Leaders, Miss Begum, Ms De Souza and Ms Scott - learning songs, foraging for minibeasts and simply playing in the mud... We are very proud to say that Ranelagh is a Forest School. |
